Why this number matters

Most pros normalize no-shows as “part of the job.” They're not. A 10% flake rate at $150/session × 20 sessions/month works out to $3,600 a year— roughly a month's revenue, gone, paid for in time you can't resell.

The fix isn't a stricter cancellation policy email. It's requiring payment to confirm. Once a slot is paid, the show-rate jumps because the client has skin in the game — and even when they don't show, you're paid for your time.

That's what Calavai does in one tool. Booking + Stripe payment, integrated. Client picks a slot, pays, slot is confirmed. No payment, no booking. You keep 95%.
